The Story Behind The Thrift Store Annex

BeforeAfter

This is a picture of the Thrift Store on first street when we purchased it. It had sadly fallen victim to deferred maintanance.

And here it is after Doug Marohn and the people at Spectrum Painting went to work on it.
Don't Sacrifice The GardenExpanding Our Support

We needed room to put furniture and increase our sales which go to support the many services that the Buellton Senior Center provides the senior community. Our other option was to add onto the existing Thrift on Hwy 246 and that would mean eliminating the beautiful garden.

This purchase will help us expand not only the number and variety of affordable items we are able to offer the commmunity, but also support and perhaps expand our current services.
More Room More SelectionTables, Exercize Equipment Etc.

Previously our biggest problem was space for large items like furniture, the original Thrift Store is just too small for such items. Now however with the new facility we have all the room we need to take donations of whole households.

Furniture is so important to many young couples and even singles who are just starting out on their own and need to furnish an apartment.
